Kanhaiya Plastic

Our little shop is number thirteen on the main road in Krantinagar. It’s a busy area, especially because we are so close to Khanderao Mandir. You can hear the temple bells sometimes when it’s quiet enough in the afternoon. We handle a lot of different plastic items here. It’s mostly just us working behind the counter and making sure the shelves don’t stay empty for too long. The main road gets quite noisy with all the rickshaws and bikes going past our door all day long. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the shop stays pretty much the same. People stop by on their way home or after visiting the temple for prayers. We don't have a big fancy showroom, just a regular space filled with the things people need for their kitchens or their small businesses. Sometimes we run out of space inside and have to stack things outside on the pavement, but we try to keep it as neat as we can. It's a lot of work keeping track of everything. The floor is just plain concrete and we’ve got some old wooden shelves that have been here since we first started out. It feels like home to us because we spend more time here than anywhere else. We know most of the neighbors and the other shopkeepers around Krantinagar. If you’re looking for us, just look for the sign near the temple. We’re usually here from morning until late evening, just keeping the business going.
