About B. L. Industry – Agriculture & Farming in Shirpur
We are over in Kerhale (Bk.), right near the bus stand in Raver. It gets pretty busy around here when the buses come through, but we just stick to our work inside the shed. B. L. Industry isn't a fancy place. We’ve got machines running and people doing their jobs every day. Raver is known for its heat, and some days it’s really something else under the roof. We started out small and stayed that way for a bit. There’s always dust on the floor no matter how much we sweep it. People know us as the place just down the road from where they catch their rides. It’s a quiet life if you ignore the noise from the tools. We don’t have a big office or anything like that. Just a desk with too many papers on it and a cooler that barely works in May. Most of the guys here live nearby so we all know each other’s families. It's just a regular workshop where we try to get things done right the first time. Sometimes we have to wait for parts to arrive from the city, which can take a while. You get used to the pace of things out here in the taluka. It isn't like the big cities where everything is rush, rush, rush. We take our tea breaks when the sun is highest and then get back to it until the evening light starts to fade over the fields.
