Down here in Holnandhe, life moves a bit differently than in the big cities. Ashtavinayak Pharma is situated right in this part of Dhule. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t have any of those flashy signs or modern interiors. It is just a solid building where we keep the medicines and supplies that people in the taluka need. Running a pharmacy in a place like this means you have to be reliable. People depend on us to have what they’re looking for, especially since they might have traveled a bit to get here. We spend our mornings sorting through deliveries and making sure the inventory is correct. The dust gets everywhere, so cleaning is a never-ending task. We’ve been in Dhule for a while, and we’ve seen the seasons change and the roads get better, but the shop stays mostly the same. It’s quiet in the afternoons when the sun is high. We usually sit by the fan and catch up on the bookkeeping. It isn’t a complicated life, but it’s busy in its own way. We take pride in just being open when we say we will be.
