Ashok Sonawane Culture

Ashok Sonawane Culture is located at Plot No. 3 in New Ganesh Colony. You can find us along the Shahada Talode Road, not too far from the TV Tower. That tower is a good landmark for people who aren't from this part of town. Our place is more of a workshop and display area for the different things we make and sell. We focus a lot on traditional items that represent our local heritage. The building itself is pretty plain, but inside it’s full of various pieces we’ve been working on. It gets quite busy during the festival seasons. We have a few people who help out with the crafting and moving things around. The road outside can get very dusty, especially when the trucks go by. We try to keep the shop clean, but it's a constant battle. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just like making things that people want to have in their homes. Most of what we know was learned from older family members. We spend most of our daylight hours here, often working late if there’s a big order to finish. It’s a quiet colony for the most part, except for the noise from the main road. We don't do much in terms of marketing. Usually, someone sees our work at a neighbor's house and asks where it came from. That's how we've stayed in business all these years.
