Thrimurthi Exports & Imports is tucked away on Saraf Bakalrishna Rao B Lane, just off Ashoka Road. It’s one of those narrow lanes where you have to be careful driving. Our office is right there among the other local shops and houses. We’ve been doing this for a long time, mostly focusing on bringing things in and sending them out. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll usually see the same faces every time you drop by. Ashoka Road is always crowded, but our lane is a little bit quieter, luckily. We handle all sorts of goods, whatever needs to be moved. The office is a bit cramped because we have so many samples and papers lying around. We tried organizing it last month but it didn't last long. That's just how it goes when you're busy. We don't really have a big corporate structure here. If something needs doing, one of us just does it. We know most of the people on the street by name. It’s a good community to be part of. We spend a lot of time on the phone with customs and shipping agents. It’s not always easy, but we’ve learned the ropes over the years. We just keep working away at our own pace. There’s no flashy lobby or anything, just a desk and some chairs for whoever stops by to talk. Sometimes we get packages delivered to the wrong lane because the names are so similar, so we have to go walking around.
