Tata Power Solar

Our place is at 41, Gadikoppa, right on the Main Road. It is a very busy spot with buses and trucks going by all day long. Being on the Main Road means we get a lot of dust in the shop, so we are constantly wiping down the solar panels we have on display. Tata Power Solar is the name on the board, but we are just a local team of four people. We handle everything from the initial walk-in questions to the actual work on the roofs. Gadikoppa is a growing area, and we see new houses going up every week. Most of the people who come in are curious about how they can save some money on their electric bills. We have a back room where we store the inverters and the mounting frames. It’s usually a bit of a mess back there. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high, otherwise working on the metal roofs becomes almost impossible. We take a long break in the afternoon when it is too hot to be outside. Our office has a couple of plastic chairs for customers and an old desk where we keep the ledger. We don't use much software for our day-to-day stuff; we prefer writing things down. It feels more reliable that way. We’ve been at this location for a while and we know the shortcut through the back lanes to avoid the traffic.
