Our store, Sri Prasanna Ganapathi Balamuri General Stores, is located in Ravindra Nagara, over here in Shivamogga. It’s a traditional general store where we keep a bit of everything that people might need for their daily lives. We’ve been in Ravindra Nagara for a long time, and we know just about everyone who lives on this side of town. The shop is small and can get pretty packed with bags of rice, pulses, and all kinds of household items. We open up pretty early in the morning so people can get what they need before they go to work or start their day. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy sacks and keeping everything organized on the shelves. Sometimes we run out of things or the delivery doesn't show up on time, but we manage. It’s just us running the place, no big staff or anything like that. We like the pace of life here in Shivamogga. It’s not too fast, and people always have time for a quick chat while they’re buying their groceries. We don't do any big promotions or sales. We just sell things at a fair price and try to be helpful when we can. If you live around here, you’ve probably walked past us a hundred times. We’re just a regular part of the neighborhood, doing our best to keep the shop running smoothly every day. It is nothing special, just a shop for the people who live nearby.
