Shankar

My name is Shankar and I run things from my place in Henegere, which is under the Beemanakone Post in Sagara Thaluk, way out in the Shimoga district. This is a quiet part of the world, mostly green and full of trees. My work isn't anything like what you see in the big cities. It is just local, hands-on labor. I don't have a big office or a bunch of managers. It is usually just me and a couple of others getting things done. Whether it is small repairs or helping out with a local project, we just do what is needed. The pace here is a bit slower than in the cities, and we like it that way. Most of the people I work for are neighbors or people from the surrounding villages in the 577417 area. We deal with the rain and the mud when it comes, and we just keep moving. It is honest work. I don't have a fancy business card or a slogan. If someone needs something done, they usually just come by or send word through someone else. It is a simple way of doing business that has worked for us for a long time. We just use the tools we have and try to be useful around here. That is pretty much the whole story. We don't have much but our skills and the willingness to show up when someone asks for help with a job.
