This Jsw Steel location is over in Shivamogga. We are actually based out of a place that’s part of a residential area, specifically at the home of Smt Uma S Bhat, which is called ‘Sri’. It’s on 2nd Cross in the 2nd Stage of Malleshwara Nagara. You’ll find us near the Gundappa Shed. It’s a bit of a local landmark for people living around here in the 577202 area of Karnataka. Since we are tucked away in a neighborhood, it’s a lot quieter than being on a main highway. We manage the steel business from this spot. It’s not your typical industrial yard. It feels more like a home office because that is basically what it is. We handle the local distribution and orders for Jsw Steel. People in Shivamogga know where Malleshwara Nagara is, so they don't usually have trouble finding the 2nd Cross. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. We just do our work and keep track of the logs. Sometimes the neighbors stop by to chat while we are working. It's a very community-oriented way to run a business. We like being in this part of town. It keeps us grounded. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in steel, so having a quiet place to sit and go through it all is actually quite nice. We just get on with it. It’s been our spot for a good while.
