Ambulance - jeevaraksha Ambulance

We are based out of Sagar Road at the main head office location. It’s not much of an office in the traditional sense; it’s more of a home base for the ambulances. Most of our time is spent out on the streets rather than sitting behind a desk. We’ve got the vans parked nearby and a small room where the drivers can wait for a call to come in. The name Jeevaraksha is on all our vehicles, so you might have seen us driving around. It’s a tough job because the traffic on Sagar Road is almost always a mess, and that makes it hard to get anywhere quickly. We spend a lot of time checking the equipment and making sure the vans are fueled up and ready to go. It’s a small group of us working here. We don’t have any receptionists or fancy waiting rooms because patients don't really come to us; we go to them. The office gets a bit dusty with all the construction going on nearby. We’ve been doing this for a long time and we know the shortcuts through the side streets to avoid the worst of the jams. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We don't have a big website or a marketing person. We just wait for the phone to ring and then we head out. We check the stretchers and oxygen tanks every single morning before we start. It is mostly just about being ready when the phone rings.
