Thakur Tours And Travels is tucked away in Shop No 3, which is over in the Shimla East area. We are right near the Kali spot and actually situated just behind the SBI bank building. It’s a bit of a quieter part of town compared to the main Mall, but we like it that way. Most days, we are just here in the shop, handling the paperwork for different trips. The 171002 pin code area has a different feel, more local and less hurried. Being behind the bank means people sometimes find us by accident when they are out doing their errands. The office is small and we’ve filled it with the things we need to stay organized. We don't spend money on big advertisements or fancy signs. It’s a basic place where you can sit down and talk about travel plans. Shimla East has some nice views if you walk a bit, and we usually take our breaks outside when the sun is out. Sometimes the monkeys around here cause a bit of a stir, but that's just living in the hills. We handle things ourselves, from the phone calls to the scheduling. It is a straightforward business and we try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. We’ve been in this specific shop for a bit, and it’s become our second home. We keep our records in simple folders and mostly rely on our local knowledge to help people out.
