Smart Kids Playgroup School

Smart Kids Playgroup School is located in Rampur, right in the heart of Rampur Bushahr up in Shimla. It’s a small place, mainly because we deal with little children who don’t need huge halls. The rooms are filled with plastic chairs, colorful mats, and plenty of toys that usually end up scattered across the floor by noon. Dealing with toddlers means there’s never a quiet moment. You hear singing, crying, and laughing all mixed together. We spend a lot of time wiping sticky fingers and making sure everyone takes their nap. The air in Shimla is crisp, so we let the kids play outside whenever the sun is out. Our building is just a regular house converted into a school, so it feels more like a home than a workplace. Parents from the neighborhood drop their kids off early in the morning on their way to work. We know most of them by their first names. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time. Sometimes we run out of drawing paper or the crayons get broken, so someone has to run down to the local shop to get more. The staff is just a few local women who enjoy being around children. It’s not a fancy academy with a uniform code or anything. We just keep the kids safe, fed, and busy until their parents come back in the afternoon.
