Shakti Traders

Shakti Traders is located at 35/1 Anaj Mandi. Being in the grain market means there is always a lot of dust in the air and the smell of jute bags everywhere. It’s a very busy part of the city. You see trucks loading and unloading from early in the morning until late at night. Our spot is a bit small, tucked between two larger warehouses. We have some wooden benches for people to sit on if they have to wait, but they aren't very comfortable. Most of the time, the floor is covered in small samples of whatever we are dealing with that day. We don't wear suits or anything like that because you just get dirty within ten minutes of arriving. Shakti Traders has been in this market for a good while, and we know most of the other traders nearby. It’s a loud place with people shouting prices and horns honking constantly. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the main ledger. The fan overhead wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a clock that is five minutes fast. It is a hard-working environment, and we don't have much time for small talk that isn't about the business at hand. We stay here until the market starts to quiet down in the evening and the street lights come on.
