About Sai Engineering Foundation – Metals & Minerals in Shimla
Rishi Cottage in Dhingu Dhar. It's a quiet spot in Sanjaulli. We've been around here for a while now. Engineering work in the hills is different than the plains. You have to deal with the slopes and the weather. Sometimes the rain makes things hard, but we get through it. There’s a small team of us working out of the office. It’s not a big fancy place, just a regular cottage where we keep our papers and meet up. Most days we are out on sites anyway. It’s more about getting the job done right than talking about it. People know where to find us if they need help with a project. We don't really do big ads or anything like that. Shimla is small enough that word gets around. My cousin helped set things up years ago. We handle the technical stuff so others don't have to worry about the structural side. It's steady work. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up. The view from Sanjaulli is nice, but we are usually too busy to look at it. We just focus on the drawings and the ground work. If someone stops by, we usually have tea going. It's just how things are here. We try to be helpful and keep things simple. We don't have a big corporate ladder, just a few people who know their way around a construction site and some computers. That's about it really.
