Rohit Karol & Assoc is located in a bit of a unique spot in Shimla. We are down below the railway goods shed, right near the bus stand. It’s a noisy area with all the buses coming and going, but it’s very convenient for people traveling in from out of town. We do accounting and tax work, mostly for small businesses and individuals who need their papers sorted. The office isn't very large, and it can get a bit cramped when we have a few people waiting. We’ve got some old wooden furniture and plenty of filing cabinets that have seen better days. Being near the transport hub means we get a lot of walk-in traffic from people who are just passing through or doing errands at the market. It’s a busy environment, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of the engines and the shouting outside. We try to keep things organized, even when the tax deadlines get close and the piles of documents start to grow. We aren't fancy consultants; we’re just people who know how to handle the numbers. Most of our clients have been coming to us for years because they know where to find us and they like that we don't make things complicated. It's just a regular office doing regular work. Sometimes we grab a snack from the nearby stalls when we are working through lunch. It’s a lively part of Shimla to be in every day.
