Our office is situated in Meera Bhawan, which is in Village Dhanda. This is up in the Shimla district, near the Totu post office area. Working in the hills has its own pace. Sometimes the weather gets a bit rough and the roads are slow, but we manage to keep things moving. We deal with recorders and medical supplies on a regular basis. We are a private limited company, but we don't really have that corporate feel. It’s a small operation where everyone knows each other. We don't have a big front desk with a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door will help you out. We spend most of our time checking over our stock and making sure orders are packed correctly. The building itself is an older one, and it feels like a real part of the village. We’ve been here for quite some time now, so we’re a familiar sight to the people living nearby. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy promotional stuff. We just do our work and try to be reliable. It’s a simple business model. We get the equipment in, we check it, and we send it where it needs to go. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what we do. The air is fresh up here, and that makes the work days a bit better.
