We operate out of Shyam Cottage in Sector-1. New Shimla is a bit quieter than the main town area, which suits us just fine. Pokalee Falls Consultancy And Trade India Private Limited is a mouthful of a name, but we just think of ourselves as the team at the cottage. We deal with consultancy and some trading bits here and there. It’s a mix of different things depending on the day. Since we’re in Himachal Pradesh, we get to see the seasons change properly, which is nice. The office itself isn’t some glass skyscraper. It’s a cottage, so it feels a bit more like home than a workplace. We have our desks set up and we just get to it. Sometimes the internet acts up when the weather is bad, but that’s life in the hills. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just handle the trades and the consulting work as honestly as we can. Most of our days are spent on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It’s not glamorous, but it’s real work. People know us in the neighborhood, and we like it that way. If you’re walking through Sector-1, you’ll likely pass by us. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture now. It’s just us doing what we do every day without any fuss. It’s a simple living for us.
