Pawan Travels Kalka

Pawan Travels Kalka is run out of House Number 35 in Shimla. We are located near the Labour Hostel in the Nabha Phagli area. It’s more of a residential part of town, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the Mall Road. We’ve been at this for a good number of years now. Our setup is pretty basic, just a home-based office where we handle all the bookings. Most people call us on the phone, but some people like to come by and sit down to talk about their plans. We deal with a lot of travel between Kalka and Shimla, which is a busy route as everyone knows. We have a few cars and we know a lot of the other drivers in the area. It’s a small operation, mostly just family and a couple of friends helping out. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to make sure the cars are clean and the drivers show up on time. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially in the monsoon, but we do our best to keep things moving. We’ve lived in Phagli for a long time, so we know all the shortcuts and the places to stop for a meal. It’s honest work and we like being our own bosses here in this neighborhood, helping people get from place to place without any unnecessary complications along the way.
