Ni Automotive Parts is based up in Shimla. If you’ve ever been here, you know the roads are winding and the air is much thinner than in the plains. We handle various parts for vehicles, and being in Himachal Pradesh means we see a lot of different types of transport coming through. Our place isn't anything fancy. It’s more of a warehouse and a small office space. The weather can be a real factor for us. When it snows, things slow down, and we spend more time drinking tea than moving stock. But most of the year, we are busy organizing parts and getting them ready for whoever needs them. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s usually just a couple of us making sure the inventory is right. We know the local mechanics and the people who drive the mountain routes. They depend on us having what they need. We don't spend money on big advertisements. Word of mouth works best in a place like Shimla. The office gets cold in the winter, so we keep the heaters running. It’s a practical life. We enjoy the view of the hills when we take a break, but mostly we are just focused on the boxes and the ledgers. It’s a simple business in a beautiful part of the country, and we are happy staying right here.
