We're located in Rohru, right near the fire office at The Regal Retreat. It's a busy spot in Shimla. Being up here in the hills makes construction a bit different than on the plains. You have to think about the slope and the weather all the time. Our office isn't anything special, just a place to keep the paperwork and meet people. We do a lot of infrastructure work, mostly roads and buildings that people actually use. Sometimes the snow makes things slow down, but we've lived here long enough to know how to handle it. Narsingh Bajia is the name on the door. We spend most of our time out at sites in the Shimla area. It’s hard work, especially when the trucks can't get up the narrow roads. We have a few guys who handle the heavy machines and others who do the masonry. It’s a local business through and through. We know the neighbors and they know where to find us. If you’re coming from the fire office side, you can’t miss us. We aren't big on fancy talk, just focused on the concrete and the steel. It's a lot of long hours but seeing a structure finally stand up straight in the mountains is a good feeling. We just keep at it, day by day, making sure the foundations are deep enough for the mountain soil. It gets cold, but the work keeps us warm enough.
