We are based up on the 3rd floor of Rohta Niwas in Inder Nagar. It is a relatively quiet spot in Dhalli, which is a bit away from the main noise of Shimla. Myshimla Fruit Players Private Limited started because we have lived around these hills forever. Working with fruit in Himachal means you are always thinking about the weather and the mountain roads. The view from the third floor is actually quite nice, but we spend most of our time on the phone or looking at wooden crates. Getting things up and down the stairs can be a bit of a workout every day. It is a small office, mostly filled with files and the smell of fresh tea. We do not have a fancy reception desk or any of that. People usually just knock on the door and come right in. It is mostly just us trying to figure out the best way to get produce from one place to another. Shimla winters can be very tough, but we stay open through the cold and the snow. Sometimes the internet gets a bit slow when the weather turns bad, which makes things interesting. We just do our bit. It is a local business, run by people who actually live here. We do not use any big words to describe ourselves. We just work with the fruit and the farmers we have known for years. It is a simple life.
