Jay Pee Associates Ltd has a presence down in Secunderabad, specifically at the Railway Colony in South Lalaguda. We operate out of H.No. 7/1, which is the residence of Pradeep Kumar, who is an Executive Engineer. It’s a bit of a unique setup because we are located within a government residential area, which makes the surroundings much quieter than a typical business district. There are lots of trees and the pace of life feels a bit slower here in this part of Andhra Pradesh. We use this space to manage our local associations and handle the administrative side of our projects in the region. Since it is a home-based office, it feels very personal and informal. You won’t find any big neon signs pointing the way. We usually just sit around the table and go through the plans or talk about the engineering tasks at hand. Pradeep keeps things running smoothly and makes sure the paperwork is filed where it belongs. We deal with a lot of technical details that require a quiet space to think, so being in the Railway Colony actually helps a lot. It’s a practical arrangement that works for us and the people we work with. We don’t need a big glass tower to do our jobs; a quiet room and some good tea are usually enough to get through the day's tasks.
