Himachal Pradesh Helpline Tourism is located at number 11 on The Mall in Shimla. We are right across from the ICICI point, very close to the famous Scandal Point. If you’ve ever been to Shimla, you know that Scandal Point is where everyone meets up, so we are right in the thick of it. The 171001 area is always buzzing with energy. Our office is a handy place for people to stop by when they are walking along the ridge or the main Mall road. We don’t have a corporate office feel here; it’s more of a local hub where we keep track of travel schedules and help people figure out their routes. Being right at the center of town means we never really have a dull moment. The view outside our door is basically just a sea of people and the old buildings of Shimla. We keep our operations simple and direct. There is a lot of paperwork involved in tourism, and we spend most of our hours getting that sorted out. It can get very cold in the winter being so high up on the ridge, but the office is a cozy enough spot to work during the day. We don't use any big slogans or marketing tricks. We just show up, open the doors, and start our work, helping people get where they need to go in the hills. It's a busy life but we enjoy being at Scandal Point.
