Glacial Adventures

You can find us in Manali at the Himalayan Shopping Arcade, which sits right across from the Nagar Parishad building. It is a pretty central spot, so there is always something going on outside our windows. We have been part of this little community for a while, watching the seasons change from summer crowds to the quiet of winter. Our space isn't very large, just enough room for us to sit and handle the daily tasks. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who are just passing through the arcade. Manali is a busy place, especially during the tourist months, but we try to keep our own pace. The shopping arcade is a bit of an old landmark for us, and being opposite the local council office makes it easy to explain where we are to people. We don't have any fancy decorations or big corporate branding inside. It's mostly just maps, some old furniture, and our computers. We started this because we live here and know these mountains like the back of our hands. Some days it gets quite cold, and we just huddle up with some hot tea while we plan things out. We don't worry too much about being the biggest office around. We just focus on getting the details right for anyone who walks in. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy throughout the year. We are just local people doing what we know best.
