Chaka Tour & Travel

Chaka Tour & Travel is based in a Heritage Building right by the Kali Bari Template. It’s an old place with a lot of character, maybe a bit drafty in the winter but we like it. Being in Shimla 171001 means we see a lot of people coming to visit the Template. We started this because we know the area and figured we could help people travel better. It’s not a big operation with lots of staff. Just a few of us who know the mountain roads. The building itself is quite something, old stone and wood. We spend most of our time talking to people about where they want to go. Some days are long, especially when the weather isn't great. But that's the mountains. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just arrange trips and hope people enjoy the views. It’s a decent way to make a living. You can find us near the Template if you're wandering around the heritage area. It’s easy to spot once you get to Kali Bari. We’ve been here long enough that most of the shopkeepers nearby know us. We don't have a fancy website or anything. Most people just walk in after seeing the sign on the old wall. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the maps and papers, but it’s home for the business. We usually have some tea going if you want to sit and talk for a minute or two.
