Amity Information Centre

We are located up in the hills of Shimla, right in the middle of Sanjauli Bazaar. Our office for the Amity Information Centre is in the Sarab Complex. If you are walking through the bazaar, you just need to look for Dr. Path Lal Lab and we are right above it. It’s a busy area with a lot of people walking by every day. The office isn't very large, just enough space for a few of us to sit and talk to people who come in. We mainly handle information here. People stop by to ask questions about courses or to pick up some forms. It gets quite cold during the winter months, as you’d expect in Shimla, so we usually have a small heater going to keep us warm. The bazaar outside is always full of life, which is nice to see from the window. We don’t have any fancy furniture or a big lobby area. It’s just a regular room with some chairs and some filing cabinets. Most of the time, we are just busy answering phones or helping whoever walks through the door. It’s a simple job in a nice part of town. Sanjauli has its own vibe compared to the main Mall Road. We’ve been here for a bit and most locals know the building. There’s no need for big advertisements when you are right in the heart of the market like this. We just keep things moving and help out where we can.
