Regency

Up here in Shillong, you can find us at the Regency office near the Asit Chakrabarty Post Office. We’re tucked away in the Nongrimaw neighborhood of Laitumukhra. It’s a lively part of town, especially being so close to the Assam Rifles area. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite some time. The weather in Shillong usually keeps things cool, which is nice when we’re busy inside all day. Our office is just a regular room where we keep our records and take care of the daily tasks that come up. It’s not hard to find us once you get to the post office; just look around for the Laitumukhra signs. We have a few desks and a lot of paper everywhere, like most places do. The street outside can get a bit crowded with traffic during the middle of the day, but we don’t mind the noise much. It feels like a real community here. We don’t really do anything special for decorations, we just focus on the work that needs finishing. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power flickers, but that’s just how it goes living in the hills. We’ve grown fond of this little corner of Meghalaya and it suits what we do just fine. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so it’s a short commute for us most mornings. It’s just a plain, honest workspace where we spend our time and get through our lists.
