Neigrihms

We are the team at Neigrihms up here in Shillong. It’s a place where things are always happening across different departments and the institute as a whole. Being in Meghalaya, the weather can be a bit unpredictable, but the work stays steady for everyone involved. Much time is spent in the halls and various offices of the building. It’s not your typical small shop; it’s a big place where many people come and go. Sometimes it feels like a small city inside these walls. Different departments do all sorts of specialized work. The pace is usually quite quick around here. You see a lot of people walking around with their heads down, focused on whatever they are doing that day. It can be a bit overwhelming for newcomers to find their way around the different sections. Routines and schedules keep us moving from morning till evening. The location is beautiful, though we usually only see it from the windows while we are busy. It’s a serious place, but we have our moments of quiet in the break room. People come from all over the region to visit this institute. It’s a lot of responsibility being part of a place like this. Every day brings a different set of challenges or new people to meet. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. It's a lot of effort from everyone.
