Mm Engineering & Consultant is on the ground floor of Zara Arcade. If you know where the SBI ATM is on Keating Road, then you’ve probably walked right past us. It’s a handy spot because the ATM brings a lot of people by our window. The office isn't very large, but it fits our desks and the big maps and drawings we have to look at. We do a lot of consulting work which involves a lot of phone calls and looking at technical data. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it helps when we’re reading small print on contracts. Keating Road has its own rhythm, and we’ve become part of it over the years. We see the same people walking their dogs or heading to work every morning. Sometimes the ground floor gets a bit chilly in the winter months, so we keep a small heater under the desk. We don’t have a lot of fancy furniture. Most of it is just functional stuff we picked up when we started. We handle engineering queries and give advice when people come in with their projects. It’s steady work and keeps us thinking. We usually have a stack of paper on the corner desk that never seems to get smaller. That’s just the nature of the business. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the office, just doing the jobs we have.
