Kamber Clinic

Kamber Clinic is tucked away on Keatinge Road inside the Kamber Medical Centre. If you walk down Keatinge Road, it’s a fairly easy spot to find. The medical center itself houses a few different things, but we have our own dedicated space. It’s a modest setup. We have the usual wooden desks and chairs that have been around for quite some time. The walls are mostly white, decorated with a few health posters that have been there since we opened. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising. Most people who come here are just locals who live within walking distance or found us while visiting other spots on Keatinge Road. The morning shift usually starts with unlocking the heavy main door and getting the lights on. It’s a bit of a routine. We spend a lot of time writing in the ledgers and making sure the water dispenser is full. There is a specific smell to the place, a mix of cleaning fluids and old paper, which is pretty common for clinics like ours. Sometimes the traffic on the road gets a bit loud, especially in the afternoons, but inside it stays fairly calm. We have a small staff, just a few of us who handle everything from answering the phone to cleaning up the lobby. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just focus on seeing the people who show up and making sure they get what they need before they head home.
