Shri Shankar Iron & Stone Store

We are on Station Road in Firozabad. Shri Shankar Iron & Stone Store is the name. We are right across from Neha Guest House. If you get off the train, we aren't too far away. We have been selling iron and stone here for a while. It's heavy work. Our yard is usually full of stuff. We don't have a big office or anything. It's mostly just the warehouse and the counter. The dust gets everywhere because of the stone. We don't mind it much. It’s just how the job is. People come from all over the district for what they need. We try to keep enough stock so nobody has to wait too long. The guest house across the road is a good landmark for people who aren't from around here. Firozabad is a busy place. Station Road always has something going on. We see a lot of trucks and carts going by all day. We start early in the morning. Shri Shankar Iron & Stone Store is a family-run kind of thing. We don't use fancy machines for everything. A lot of it is just moving things by hand. It’s honest work. We aren't trying to be the biggest. We just want to be reliable for the builders and the neighbors. We stay open until the sun goes down. Most of the guys here are from nearby. We know the roads. We know the stones. It is just a regular life here.
