Out here in the Ambaji Industrial Area, things are always moving. Our factory, Aravali Plasto Packers Pvt. Ltd., is at G-1/185. Abu Road is a busy place for industry, and we are right in the middle of it. The machines make a lot of noise all day long, which is something you just get used to after a week. We focus on making packing materials, so the warehouse is usually full of rolls and stacks of finished goods. It gets incredibly hot in this part of Rajasthan, and the metal roof doesn't help much, but we keep the big fans going. There is no fancy lobby here. It’s just an office room with a couple of old computers and some samples of what we make. We have shifts of workers coming and going, and trucks backing into the loading bay at all hours. We don't spend time on social media or making fancy ads. Most of our business comes from other factories nearby that need stuff packed up. It’s a lot of physical work and managing the supply of raw materials. Sometimes the machines break down and everything stops for a few hours while we get the parts. That’s just life in an industrial area. We keep it practical and focus on getting the orders out on time. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s an important one for the local economy here. Every morning we check the inventory and get to work.
