Mangal Bricks

Mangal Bricks is tucked away near the New Anaj Mandi, right on the Link Road. Being near the grain market means there are always tractors and trailers moving around. It feels like a place where things are constantly being bought and sold. We get a lot of farmers who come to the mandi and then stop by our place to pick up some bricks for their farm buildings or walls. The Link Road is paved, which helps us stay open even when the weather gets a bit messy. The yard is quite large, so we have space to let the bricks dry out properly before they get fired. I spend most of my day walking between the drying area and the kiln. My shoes are usually ruined within a month because of the heat and the rough ground. We do not use any fancy language or sales pitches here. If someone wants bricks, they look at what we have in the stacks and we tell them the price. It is as simple as that. The noise from the Anaj Mandi can be quite loud during the harvest season when everyone is bringing in their crops. We just work through it and keep the fire going. Our office is just a corner of the shed with an old table and a few plastic chairs. We do not need much else. It is a practical business for practical people, and we have been at this for a long time.
