Sasa Collections (Opc) Private Limited is located in Mehus village, over in the Sheikhpura district. We are based at the place of Ram Raghav Kumar, right near the Bhagwati Mandir. It’s a nice spot because the temple is a landmark, so people find us easily. Our business is small and personal. We don’t have a big corporate board or complicated rules. It is mostly just a few of us working together to put together different collections of clothing. The village of Mehus is a peaceful place to work, though it gets lively during temple festivals. We don't have a glossy catalog or a professional photographer. We just show the clothes to whoever comes by. Most of our work is done on old-fashioned tables, and we keep our threads organized in small boxes. The walk to the post office is how we get our daily exercise. We don't go for using big words to sound important. We are just a local Sheikhpura business that started from a small idea. Sometimes the rain makes the path to the Mandir difficult, but we still open up every day. We enjoy the simple routine of stitching and chatting with the locals who stop by to say hello. There’s no fancy air conditioning here, just the breeze through the windows and the sound of the birds outside. We work until it’s time for the evening prayers at the temple, then we head home. It’s a good, simple way to live.
