Eduaide Foundation

Out here in Sarkauli, things move at a different pace. Our foundation, Eduaide, is based right in the village, at house number 55 in Panch Basahi. If you’re coming through the Cheria Bariarpur block, you’ll find us easily enough. We started this because we saw that students in our village didn't always have the same resources as kids in the bigger towns. It's just a small setup, nothing too complicated. We spend our time looking for ways to support the local schools and help out with study materials. Life in the village-Sarkauli area is simple, but we want the children here to have every chance to learn. A few of us got together and decided to stop just talking about it and actually do something. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a big staff. It's mostly just local people who care about how our kids are growing up. Sometimes we meet under the trees or at someone's house to talk about the next steps. It's not always easy to get things moving, but we try our best with what we have. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just our little corner of it here in the Tola-Sarkauli area. Education is the main thing we look at, trying to make sure nobody gets left behind just because they live far from the city. It's practical work, really, and we are just happy to be doing it.
