This specific unit of ours is at Plot Number 1 on the Village Road, right at Survey No. 282. It’s where a lot of our laminate production happens. Being right at the start of the plot row makes it easy for the trucks to back in, which is a relief. We spend our days dealing with resins and papers. It’s a chemical process that requires a lot of attention. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make laminates. The machinery is old but reliable, as long as we keep it maintained. The workers here have been with us for years. We know each other’s families and stories. It’s a local vibe, nothing like those big corporate offices in the city. Our desks are covered in dust and bits of paper. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just talk to our customers directly. If there’s a problem, we fix it. If someone needs a custom size, we see if we can manage it. It’s a very manual process in many ways. We’re just a bunch of people working on the Village Road, trying to make a product that lasts. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we know how to do. When the sun goes down, we lock up and head home, leaving the machines to cool down until the morning shift starts again and the whole cycle begins once more for the crew.
