Our place, Supreme Nonwovens Bhilad, is situated in Shanker Bhavan in the Panoor area of Kannur. If you have been to Kerala, you know how green everything is around here, and our location is no different. It’s a peaceful spot compared to the industrial hubs in other states. The building is a standard local structure, and we have been operating out of here for some time now. Dealing with the monsoon is a big part of our yearly routine because when it rains in Kannur, it really pours for days on end. We have to make sure everything stays dry and the materials are protected. The staff mostly speak the local language and we have a very simple way of doing things. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and find someone working at a desk or moving things in the back. It is a very hands-on environment. Most of the time, the air is filled with the smell of the nearby trees and the damp earth after a rain shower. We keep our operations steady and don't try to complicate things with too much technology where it isn't needed. People in the village know us, and we are just a part of the local landscape now. It’s a quiet existence, focusing on the production and making sure the batches are ready when they need to be sent out to the distributors.
