Star Jaggery

We are located right here in Village Rajhar, which falls under the Muzaffarnagar tehsil area in the Shamli district. Most people around here know the spot because we are situated quite close to the HDFC Bank. It’s a busy enough little corner of the village. We handle a lot of jaggery work, which is pretty standard for this part of the country. The air usually smells like sugar being cooked down, especially when the season is in full swing. It’s not a fancy setup or anything like that. Just a plain building where we get things done every day. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now. Sometimes the traffic near the bank gets a little backed up with tractors and bikes, but we just keep working through it. Our days start pretty early because that is just how things go when you are dealing with local produce. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity; we are just Star Jaggery, working out of a village. The weather gets really hot here in the summers, which makes the work even tougher, I guess, but we are used to the rhythm of Shamli. People from the nearby farms stop by often. There isn't much to see if you are looking for something polished, just us doing our jobs and making sure the jaggery moves out when it needs to. It’s simple work, honestly. We just stay focused on what’s right in front of us and don't worry too much about the rest of the world.
