Umiya Auto Centre

We’ve been here at Umiya Auto Centre for quite some time now, just off the Shamlaji Highway in Motipura. Most people find us because we’re right near Yogeshwar Engineering Works, which is a big landmark around here. Our day usually starts pretty early when the sun is still low. The highway gets noisy with trucks and cars passing by all the time, but we don’t mind it much anymore. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We spend a lot of our time dealing with whatever comes through the door. Sometimes it’s busy and we’re all hands on deck, and other times it’s a bit slower so we sit out front for a minute. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a place where work gets done. We keep our tools organized as best we can, though things tend to get messy by the afternoon. It’s dusty out here on the edge of the road, so we’re always cleaning off the counters and the equipment. We know most of the guys working nearby, and we usually end up grabbing tea from the same spot every day. There isn't a lot of mystery to what we do here. We just show up, handle the tasks in front of us, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a steady life and we like being part of the Motipura community. People know where to find us if they need something fixed or looked at.
