Nagaiah Poultry Farm

Nagaiah Poultry Farm is spread across Survey Numbers 83 and 85 in Laxmapur Village. We are tucked away in the Shamirpet Mandal area, which is a good spot for keeping birds because it is away from all the city noise and pollution. The farm is where we spend all our time, from the early morning hours until late in the evening. There are thousands of chickens to look after, so there's never a moment where we are just sitting around doing nothing. We have to check the water lines, make sure the feed is distributed right, and keep an eye on the health of the whole flock. It is a lot of responsibility because things can go wrong quickly if you aren't paying attention. The village of Laxmapur is a quiet place, and most of our neighbors are also doing some kind of farming. We have a few sheds built to house the birds, and they take up most of the space on the lot. It gets quite dusty, especially when we are moving the feed around, and you definitely need a good pair of boots to walk around the grounds. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know the birds well. It's not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We just try to keep the farm running well and get the eggs or birds ready for whoever is buying them.
