Sri Ayyappa Wood Iron Engg Fabrications

You can find us at 9/50/51 in the Laxminagar Colony area of Jawaharnagar. It is a noisy place because we are always cutting metal or sanding down wood. There is usually a lot of sawdust on the floor and scraps of iron leaning against the walls. We handle a lot of fabrication work, which means we are often wearing masks and gloves to stay safe from the sparks. It’s a practical workshop, not a showroom. We have some heavy benches and welding machines that have been with us for a long time. The colony is pretty busy, so there is always someone walking by or asking about a gate or a window frame. We don't really have a set schedule for when things get quiet, as there is always something to weld or a piece of timber to trim. The air smells like burnt metal and fresh pine most of the time. We aren't a big corporation; it’s just a group of us who know how to handle tools and get things built. Sometimes we run out of a certain type of rod or a specific hinge, and one of us has to head out to the market to grab more. It is a lot of physical labor, but we are used to it. We just keep the machines running and try to finish the projects we have piled up on the floor. It’s honest work that keeps us busy every day.
