Our unit is located at the RTPS/KPCL site in Shaktinager, which is part of the Raichur district. We specifically work out of Unit 8 Silo. If you’ve ever been to this area, you know it’s a massive industrial landscape. The silos are these huge towers that dominate the view. It’s very hot here, especially during the summer months, so the work can be pretty draining. We’re mostly focused on the cement and the logistics of moving it from the silos to where it’s needed. There are always trucks idling nearby, waiting for their turn to load up. It’s a lot of coordination between the plant and the drivers. We spend our days checking gauges, signing off on paperwork, and making sure the dust doesn't get too overwhelming. It’s a big site, so there’s a lot of walking back and forth. We have a small team out here at the silo. We’ve become like a little family because we’re out here in the heat all day together. Shaktinager isn't exactly a bustling city center, it’s more of a place where people come to work. We don't have a lot of frills. The office is just a basic room with a desk and some chairs. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on schedule. It’s steady work, and we’ve been doing it this way for quite a while now.
