About Orange Tractors – Agriculture & Farming in Shajapur
We are out on Agar Road in Kanad. It’s a big open space because, well, tractors take up a lot of room. You can’t miss the place if you’re driving by. There is usually a line of machines parked out front, some new and some that we’ve been working on. The sun hits the metal and it gets pretty bright out there in the afternoon. We spend a lot of time with grease on our hands. It’s the nature of the job when you’re dealing with engines and big tires. The shop floor is always a bit messy, but we know where every tool is. Kanad is a quiet enough place, but Agar Road stays busy with people heading to and from the farms. We see a lot of the same faces every season. Someone’s tractor breaks down, or they need a part that’s hard to find, and they end up here. We do our best to find what they need. Sometimes we have to wait for a delivery to come in from the city, which can take a few days. We just sit in the back office, drink some tea, and wait for the trucks. It’s a simple life. We don't have a big sales team. Usually, it's just one of us walking out to meet you when you pull in. We talk about the machines, look at the engines, and see what needs doing. It’s noisy when the engines start up, but we like it that way.
