Adarsh Cement Shop

You can find Adarsh Cement Shop right in Ward No. 13, over in the Mohala Sakunat area of Kulpar. It’s a pretty standard local shop where we sell bags of cement to whoever needs them. Mostly, it’s neighbors building a new wall or fixing up a roof. We keep the bags stacked up inside to keep them dry, though it gets a bit cramped when a new truckload arrives. It’s dusty work, there’s no way around that when you’re moving cement all day long. My clothes usually have a thin layer of gray on them by lunch. The shop is right on the street, so it’s easy for people to pull up and load a few bags into their vehicle. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It's just the cement and a small desk where we keep the ledger. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it's quiet and talk to the people walking by in the mohala. We’ve known most of the families around Ward 13 for years. If someone needs a large amount, we have to coordinate the delivery, which can be tricky in the narrow streets around here. We just try to be helpful and give people a fair deal without making a big deal out of it. It’s a simple life running a cement shop in Kulpar. We open when the sun is up and close when it gets dark. People know where we are if they need us.
