Up in Babuzai, near Kata Bagh, things move a little slower than in the big cities. This part of Uttar Pradesh has a very specific feel to it. Our office is easy enough to find if you’re from around here, but strangers might need to ask for directions near the bagh. We are in the 242001 area. The building is simple and doesn't stand out much from the others on the street. Inside, it’s mostly quiet. We have our desks and our filing cabinets, and that’s about it. There’s no fancy furniture or art on the walls. We don't spend money on stuff like that because it doesn't help us get the work done. A lot of our day is spent talking to people or checking through records at Vipul Ltd. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes everyone a bit sluggish, but we keep the fans running and push through. It’s an honest day’s work for everyone here. We don't have a big mission statement or any of that corporate talk. We just try to be useful and keep the office running smoothly. If a neighbor stops by, we might chat for a bit before getting back to the ledgers. It’s just a regular local office where people work hard and don’t make a big deal out of it. We take care of the business and look forward to the evening when things cool down and we can finally wrap up the day's notes.
