Ram Kishore Ice Cream Parlour

If you ever find yourself walking through Conewganj, you will probably see our place in Dalel Gunj. Ram Kishore Ice Cream Parlour is just a small local spot we run here in the Shahjahanpur district. It isn't like those big city shops that have shiny glass walls and perfect air conditioning. Ours is more of a simple corner where people can sit for a minute when they are tired of walking. We just have a couple of benches and our freezers, and that is really all there is to it. The road outside can get pretty dusty, and you see the cows wandering past the door almost every afternoon. We live close by, so opening up early or staying open late for a crowd isn't a big deal for us. Most people who come in are from the village or just folks passing through on their way to the next town over. We know the local kids by name because they come in after school with whatever coins they have managed to save. Life is fairly quiet in Dalel Gunj for the most part. We don't keep a huge menu, just the basic things that everyone likes. Sometimes the stock gets a bit low if the truck from the city is running behind, but we usually figure it out. We spend time cleaning out the containers and keeping the shop front looking okay. It is a family business and we have been here at this post for a long time.
