N K Book House

N K Book House is located on Nigohi Road in the Gadiyana area. It is a straightforward book shop where we keep a lot of different things on the shelves. We have been here for a while and the place has a lot of character, maybe too much sometimes. There are stacks of books everywhere and we try to keep them in some kind of order. It is mostly just us sitting behind the counter waiting for the next person to walk in. Gadiyana is a busy spot and we see a lot of foot traffic. We aren't trying to be one of those big modern stores you see in the malls. This is just a local shop for people who live nearby. Sometimes we have old editions that have been sitting there for years. We like it that way. The floorboards creak a little and the lighting isn't the brightest but it feels like home to us. If someone asks for a book, we usually know exactly which pile it is in even if it looks messy to anyone else. It’s a simple life running a book house on Nigohi Road. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just open the shutters in the morning and close them at night. It’s how we have always done things. People come by to chat as much as they do to buy. It’s a good community here and we are just happy to be part of it.
