Hindustan Paints

Hindustan Paints is our shop located in Mohalla Bijli. We are right by Anta Choraha on Bisrakh Road. If you are looking for us, we are very close to Dr. Waseem Hospital, which is a landmark most people in the neighborhood use to find their way around. The shop itself is a bit of a squeeze because we have so many cans of paint and supplies stacked up. It always smells a bit like chemicals and fresh pigments in here, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our hours helping people pick out what they need for their homes or projects. Our hands are usually covered in some kind of color by the end of the afternoon. The area around Anta Choraha is always buzzing with motorcycles and people walking to the hospital. It gets quite dusty on the shelves, so we have to wipe things down pretty often. We are not a big chain store with bright lights and matching uniforms. We are just a local paint shop that’s been on Bisrakh Road for years. Our counter is made of old wood and the floor has plenty of paint spills on it from over the years. We don't have any big mission statements. We just show up, open the shutters, and sell paint until it’s time to close. It’s a busy life but it keeps us moving. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, so we usually keep the fan going full speed.
