Dr Waseem Hospital

This hospital is on Anta Bisrat Road here in Shahjahanpur. It’s been standing here for quite some years now. We have a few wards and a place for people to wait. Dr Waseem is the main person here. The road outside can get quite dusty and loud with all the rickshaws and traffic, but inside we try to keep things organized. It’s a general hospital, so we see all kinds of patients. Some have fevers, others need more serious care. We have a small staff of nurses and helpers who live nearby. We don’t have a big cafeteria or anything, just a small place for tea. People from the surrounding villages also come here because Anta Bisrat Road is easy for them to reach. The building itself is plain. We don’t spend much on decorations. We think it’s better to just focus on the medical work. The rooms are basic but they have what’s needed. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we have a backup generator that we use. It’s just a regular part of life in Shahjahanpur. We know most of the local chemists and other shops around us. If you’re looking for us, just ask anyone on this road. We’ve been helping the local community for a long time without much fuss or fancy talk. It’s a hard job but someone has to do it.
