Busy Bees Pre School

If you live around South City in Shahjahanpur, you’ve probably walked past A 38 or 39 and heard a lot of noise during the day. That’s us, Busy Bees Pre School. It’s a very lively place, maybe a bit too lively on those Monday mornings when the little ones are still sleepy and missing home. We started this because there weren't many places nearby for toddlers to just be kids while learning a few things at the same time. The rooms are filled with toys, books, and drawings on the walls—most of them done by the kids themselves, so they aren't exactly art gallery quality but we like them. We spend a lot of time just managing the energy levels in the building. It’s a lot of work looking after small children all day, but we’ve got a good routine going now. We make sure they eat their snacks and take their naps, though some of them fight the nap time pretty hard every single afternoon. The neighborhood in South City is quiet mostly, so we try not to let the kids get too wild when they are outside playing in the small yard area. It’s a local setup, nothing fancy or corporate about how we do things. We just use the space we have to give them a safe spot to hang out until their parents come to pick them up after their work shift ends. Some days go smoother than others, especially when it rains and we have to keep everyone inside. We’ve been here at South City for a bit now and we really like the community.
